Cancellation & Refund Policy

Terms for cancellations, no-shows, and refunds

Effective Date: April 1, 2026

This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the terms for scheduling, cancellations, and payments for services provided by Neighborfix Appliance Services ("Neighborfix," "we," "our," or "us").

1. Appointment Cancellations

  • Customers must provide at least 2 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment
  • Cancellations made with less than 2 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
  • Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in refusal of future service

2. Missed Appointments (No-Show)

  • If the technician arrives and no one is available, it will be considered a no-show
  • A service fee may be charged
  • Future appointments may require prepayment

3. Service Call / Diagnostic Fee

  • The service call fee is non-refundable once the technician has arrived and diagnosis has been performed
  • This fee covers time, travel, and professional evaluation

4. Deposits (If Applicable)

  • Deposits for parts or special-order items are non-refundable once the order is placed
  • If a customer cancels after parts have been ordered, the deposit will be forfeited

5. Refund Policy

Neighborfix Appliance Services does not provide refunds for:

  • Completed services
  • Labor charges
  • Diagnostic/service call fees
  • Time spent on-site

6. Exceptions

Refunds or partial refunds may be considered only if:

  • A billing error has occurred
  • A service was not performed as agreed

All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Neighborfix.

📋 Warranty in Place of Refunds

Instead of refunds, qualifying repairs are covered under our 90-Day Limited Warranty, which includes return service for the same issue.

7. Payment Disputes

  • Customers agree to contact Neighborfix directly before initiating any chargebacks or disputes
  • Unauthorized chargebacks may result in additional fees or collection actions

8. Right to Refuse Service

Neighborfix reserves the right to refuse service to customers with a history of:

  • Non-payment
  • Repeated cancellations or no-shows
  • Abusive or unsafe behavior
